A better lease
starts with a story.

Finding student housing in Charlottesville can feel like signing a lease with half the information. Hoos Your Landlord gives UVA students a place to share what living in a building was actually like.

Addresses outlast rebrands.

Reviews belong to the building and address. Management companies can change, buildings can get new names, and the history should still be easy to find. Check the dates of each tenancy when reading older experiences.

Good experiences belong here, too.

We welcome positive and negative reviews. Every submission gets a human review for personal information, relevance, and our guidelines before publication. Approval does not mean we have verified the claims. Every review is labeled “Reported by a tenant, not verified.”

A student perspective.

This is an independent student project, not a University of Virginia service. There are no paid placements, user accounts, comments, or votes in this MVP.
