Use this site to share and read firsthand rental experiences. Posts express the submitting tenant’s account and are not independently verified. Consider the tenancy dates and seek additional information before making housing decisions.
Submission guidelines
- Write about a building you lived in. Be accurate, specific, and clear about what you personally experienced.
- Include helpful positive and negative experiences. Don’t publish threats, harassment, discriminatory content, spam, or unsupported allegations presented as proven facts.
- Omit personal names, unit numbers, phone numbers, emails, and details that identify other people. Automated redaction catches common contact and unit patterns; moderators also review the text.
- By submitting, you permit us to publish your review and edit it to remove identifying information or enforce these guidelines. We may reject or remove submissions.
Moderation
Reviews remain private until approved. Moderators apply the same guidelines to favorable and unfavorable reviews. A moderator’s approval is a publication decision, not factual verification. Building management details may become outdated.
What we store
We store your building selection, tenancy months, rating, review, resolution, anonymity preference, moderation status, and submission time. If you provide a contact email, it is stored in the private database for possible moderator follow-up; it never appears in public pages or the admin interface. Restricted database operators can access it.
No public display names are collected. The anonymity checkbox controls whether a review says “Anonymous tenant” or “Tenant.” Your description and dates could still identify you; avoid details you don’t want shared.
Security & retention
We store an administrator session cookie for up to eight hours. Submission, report, and login limits use a keyed hash of the requesting network address, not the raw address, in short-lived rate-limit buckets. Hosting and database providers may keep operational logs under their own policies. The site adds no advertising or analytics trackers.
Reviews remain until removed by moderation or a deletion request. Private contact emails should be deleted after follow-up, normally within 90 days. The operator handles deletion requests and retention through restricted database access; backups may retain data until their normal expiry. Expired rate-limit buckets are deleted as new buckets are used.
Corrections & removal
Use the anonymous report / takedown form to flag personal information, request removal of your submission, dispute a claim, or suggest a building correction. Include the building and review ID. Moderators can hide a review while assessing a report. Please don’t send unnecessary sensitive documents.
Anonymous reports are stored in a private moderator inbox and forwarded by email through FormSubmit. No reporter name, email address, or account is requested. Any identifying details you choose to write in a report are included in that private message. FormSubmit processes the report text for delivery and retains submissions under its own privacy policy.
This MVP provides general housing information. It does not guarantee any property, resolve landlord disputes, or provide legal advice. These terms may be updated as the project develops.
